We are looking for a few great individuals to join our dining room crew at Zachary’s in Pleasanton! We’ll be hosting open interviews on August 1st and 8th, from 3pm to 6pm. We are specifically looking to hire for our dining rooms but are accepting applications for folks interested in our kitchen as well!

What are we looking for in an ideal candidate? Someone who is hard-working and team oriented while still being self-motivated. Weekend availability is the minimum, but a flexible schedule overall would be great! The ability to multi-task and thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

What do we offer? Competitive pay + tips (starting pay for the dining room is $18/hour, kitchen starts at $19/hour), paid meal breaks, free employee meals while working, pizza discounts, an engaging and inclusive work environment, and growth potential (all of our managers have been promoted from within!). After one year of employment you’re also eligible for our Employee Stock Ownership Program (for more info on ESOPs click here), health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance), and a 401(k) plan.

What are some requirements and expectations of our dining room employees? You must be 18+ (we have a full bar and serve alcohol). Dining room positions are entry-level, but previous experience is preferred. Our dining room positions are a combination of hosting and serving which you will rotate between. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cash handling, taking customer orders (via phone, third-party delivery tablets, and in person), sanitizing high-touch surfaces, making salads, serving dine-in guests.

Solano Stroll-ish runs the length of Solano and will feature live bands, vendors, and local artist and jewelers booths. The street will remain open and all events will take place on the sidewalks outside of local businesses and restaurants.

The Grand Opening for our newest Zachary’s in Downtown Pleasanton!

Friday, September 10th is the official Grand Opening for our Pleasanton location! We are SO excited to be in Downtown Pleasanton and are enjoying meeting and serving our new community. To celebrate the day we will be donating 20% of profits from September 10th to the Pleasanton Partnerships in Education Foundation!

Pleasanton Partnerships in Education Foundation (PPIE) supports all 15 Pleasanton schools, all 14, 500+ students, and all 800+ teachers and staff to ensure high quality education in an equitable manner across the Pleasanton Unified School District. As stated on their website, it takes a community to grow strong schools and raise leaders of the future.  By providing critical staffing support and grants at all Pleasanton schools, PPIE’s vision is to enable teachers and students to innovate, excel and serve to the best of their abilities both in the classroom and in the broader community. After 15 wonderful years, Zachary’s San Ramon will soon be relocating to Downtown Pleasanton, as we were unable to reach agreeable terms on a lease renewal with property ownership. We want to sincerely thank the San Ramon community for their continued support since we opened in 2006.

We expect the next few weeks in San Ramon to be filled with bittersweet reminisces of all the special moments and memories we have made and shared together. San Ramon does, and always will, hold a special place in our hearts. We look forward to serving our valued customers in the upcoming weeks and connecting with all of you. Many of you are not only customers, but dear friends.

We are excited to be joining the vibrant Downtown Pleasanton community and we hope to see our San Ramon friends there! We hope to begin service near the end of July or beginning of August. You can expect to see the familiar faces you have come to know from San Ramon at Zachary’s Pleasanton, and be welcomed as warmly and happily as you have all these years at our San Ramon location.
