"I had always wanted to eat at Zachary's and when my strapping husband-to-be and I decided to run marathons and complete triathlons, eating pizza at Zachary's was just the thing we needed to fortify our endeavors. Eating a stuffed super veggie or roasted pepper pizza on whole wheat crust became a very regular thing for us as we trained.
"When it came time to decide where to have our wedding reception, we realized that Zachary's was such an essential part of our relationship, it had to be included. After some cajoling, we got the go-ahead to bring our 22 guests on a Saturday afternoon in November for some pizza love. To our surprise when we arrived, white tablecloths, roses, and confetti covered our designated tables. Wow, did we feel loved.
"Thanks Zachary's for making our wedding one-of-a-kind—just like your pizza! "

"Jeff and I are t-shirt-and-jeans people. So when it came to planning our wedding, we found ourselves sucked into a universe that wasn't very, well, 'us.' It was already a stretch for me to wear heels and for Jeff to put on a tux.
"The fussiness and formality involved in planning the ceremony, reception, cake, flowers, registry, blah, blah, blah left us bleary-eyed.
"So when it came to the food, we decided: enough already! No passed hor d'ouvres, no place cards, no chocolate fountain. What the hell is a canape anyway?
"This was our day and we were going to serve what we love to eat: Zachary's pizza with ice-cold premium root beer.
"Of course, we stacked the pizzas like a wedding cake, complete with bride and groom figurines on top.
"Six years, two kids and a dog later, we still eat Zachary's whenever we get the chance.
"Our kids will grow up hearing our story of how this pizza's worth getting married for."

"Lauren still says it wasn't a date. We had met only weeks before and had never been out together.
She says it was nothing more than a meal, a chance for two near-strangers to find out if they were compatible. I call that a date.
"The first positive sign was when she suggested Zachary's. I remember the conversation being a bit awkward and forced—the way many dates are—but the stuffed mushroom-and-spinach pizza was more than just delicious. It gave us something to agree on enthusiastically.
"So it either was a date, or it wasn't. At any rate, it led to another, and another.
"Ten years and countless pies later, we're married with a two-year-old daughter who already says 'Zachary's.' Her favorite is the stuffed mushroom and spinach, or maybe that's only because it's still our favorite."
