June was a month for Employee-Owner Milestones! Here’s who we got to celebrate last month 🎉
Mauricio – 25 Years
Mauricio celebrated an incredible 25 years with us on June 9! A familiar face at North Berkeley, he’s been a steady force in the kitchen since 2001. Mauricio helps lead our demanding morning shifts, when essentials like our signature dough and sauce come to life. His experience, focus, and commitment to consistency play a huge part in keeping every pizza up to Zachary’s standards.
Jo – 5 Years
Jo celebrated five years with us on June 1! She joined our Pleasanton opening crew in 2021 and quickly stood out for her cool-under-pressure attitude and impressive multitasking skills. This year, she brought those talents to Livermore as an assistant manager, making it the second Zachary’s restaurant she’s helped open! We’re lucky to have Jo’s steady leadership, versatility, and can-do spirit on our team.
Ramsey – 5 Years
Ramsey celebrated five years with us on June 8! He joined our Grand Lake kitchen team in 2021 and can now be found making pizzas or working the oven at both Grand Lake and Rockridge. His quiet confidence and calm, steady presence are especially appreciated when the kitchen gets busy and the pizzas start flying.
Carson – 5 Years
Carson celebrated five years with us on June 15! He joined our Pleasanton opening crew in 2021, bringing a quick smile, a great attitude, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. Earlier this year, Carson stepped into an assistant manager role for our Livermore opening, his second restaurant launch with Zachary’s! We’re grateful for his positivity, flexibility, and always-ready-to-help spirit.
Cheers to all four of our employee-owners who celebrated milestones with us in June! Each brings something special to the team, and Zachary’s simply wouldn’t be the same without them. Here’s to many great years, plenty of pizzas, and more milestones ahead! 🎉🍕
