No Pizza Mind Trivia January 1st
Since we’ll be closed on January 1st, that sadly means there will be no Pizza Mind Trivia that night. However, Robert will be back in action and ready to delight you with riveting questions and his delightful personality on January 15th! Same time (6:30pm), same place (Zachary’s Grand Lake), same great prizes ($50 Zachary’s Gift Certificate for 1st Place!), and the same delicious pizza. See you then 😉
Our Holiday Hours
We’ll be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Additionally, we’ll be closing early at 8:30pm at all locations on New Year’s Eve. If you’re hoping for celebratory (or recovery 😉) pizza, be sure to order and pickup half-baked pizzas the days leading up to the holidays to finish baking at home. As a reminder, half-baked pizzas last up to 4 days in the refrigerator, which means you can pick them up days in advance and skip the last minute crowds.
Closed Thanksgiving Day- Place Your Half-Baked Orders Now
All locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. But what about our Thanksgiving pizza party, you ask? Half-bakes, we say.
If pizza is on your Thanksgiving menu (be it breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a midday snack 😉), make sure you order half-baked pizzas now to finish off on Thursday. We highly recommend the following tips to ensure we’re able to grace your Thanksgiving Day table, and to make it as seamless as possible for you!

Our half-baked pizzas last 4 days in the refrigerator. Beat the crowd by ordering and picking up pizzas the days leading up to Thanksgiving! Monday or Tuesday would be ideal as we anticipate a high volume of business that Wednesday. Easy-to-follow instructions come with each order. PICKUP EARLY HALLOWEEN DAY
If you have to pickup on Halloween, we still recommend ordering half-baked pizzas and picking them up early that Monday morning. We open at 11am at all locations.

B.H.S Jazz Combo Live at Zachary’s North Berkeley October 8th!
Join us at Zachary’s North Berkeley on Tuesday, October 8th for a special treat: a trio from Berkeley High Jazz Band will be performing live from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. As part of the ongoing celebration of Zachary’s North Berkeley’s 40th anniversary this year, we’re excited to host this event, bringing the super talented and vibrant Berkeley High Jazz trio to our restaurant and community!
Whether you’re dining in with us or grabbing takeout, you’ll be part of the celebration- because we’re raffling off two $50 Zachary’s Gift Certificates to one takeout customer and one dine-in guest! To enter, simply fill out one of our raffle slips when picking up your takeout order, and when dropped off at your table with your check. This National Literacy Month, We’re Turning Pizza into Pages!
As we celebrate 40 incredible years on Solano Avenue, Zachary’s is giving back to the community that’s supported us through every slice. Join us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays this September for a special cause- bring in a receipt (dated September 1-30, 2024) from Pegasus Books on Solano Ave, and we’ll give you 5% off whole pizzas and donate 10% to the Berkeley Public Library Fund.
Who says you can’t support Solano Ave’s favorite bookstore, promote literacy, and enjoy delicious pizza all in one go? Our goal is to raise $1,000, so let’s make some dough for a great cause. Order up, dig in, and let’s help our community read more, one pizza at a time!

The Berkeley Public Library Fund supports literacy projects, building improvements, and innovative programs at the Berkeley Public Library. Current initiatives include a new Story Room, children’s area refurbishments, and projects like “Berkeley Builds Readers” and “Conscious Kits” to promote diverse reading and critical thinking for young readers.
