You cannot imagine how unbelievably honored we are to have been awarded ‘Best Pizza’ in Diablo Magazine, Oakland Magazine, and East Bay Magazine’s Best of the East Bay 2022 polls! Y’all really know how to make a home-grown, employee-owned pizza shop feel special and loved (and grateful, and humbled, and thankful, among other things). ❤️

Seriously though, we love and appreciate you beyond measure and do not take your support for granted. The Bay Area is filled with so many amazing options (it’s a true foodie mecca!) and we fully grasp the honor it is to be selected from that prestigious list. Zachary’s is the 2019 Readers’ Choice Winner for Best Pizza in Oakland Magazine’s Best of Oakland and the East Bay!

Thank you to all of our customers and to everyone who voted for Zachary’s!  We don’t take these awards lightly and are happy to say Zachary’s has received over 200 best pizza awards!

We are super thrilled to announce that we won “Best Pizza” in the 2018 East Bay Express Reader’s Poll! There are so many amazing pizza and non-pizza restaurants (that’s how we classify them, anyway) in the East Bay. We are truly humbled to win this award!

We are also over-the-moon to share that, for the second year in a row on Trip Advisor, we are rated the number one restaurant in Oakland! Wow-ee!!!!!! This is incredible and we are super proud of our amazing and talented Oakland crew (some of whom have been making pizzas since the 1980s!).

We are super excited to announce that we won Reader’s Choice BEST PIZZA in Oakland Magazine’s Best of Oakland and the East Bay edition. This is a huge honor! We are keenly aware of the number of fantastic restaurants in the East Bay and we are truly thrilled to be acknowledged for our contribution to the pizza scene!

Woo-hoo! We are pleased as pie (!!) to share exciting news from Bay Area Guardian: We won Best Pizza! We feel super honored to receive this award, especially since we don’t have any locations in San Francisco… a city of amazing food and delicious pizza!

Families!! We were voted Silver by Bay Area Parent readers in the “Best Family Restaurants in the Bay Area: East Bay” category! Check out the list of winners here. Woo-hoo!

In other equally exciting news, Hoodline published, “A Slice Above: How San Francisco Ranks Among America’s 50 Best Pizza Spots“. Guess who is number 6?!!! Spoiler alert: San Francisco ranks just as highly as NYC!

We are super excited about both of these pieces of recognition. We love being a fun and comfortable place for families and we are very proud of our Oakland roots. There are lot of fantastic pizza options in the Bay Area. We are flattered and thankful that our customers love us as much as we love them.
