We are looking for a few great individuals to join our dining room crew at Zachary’s in Pleasanton! We’ll be hosting open interviews on November 2nd, from 1pm to 4pm.

What are we looking for in an ideal candidate? Someone who is hard-working and team oriented while still being self-motivated. Weekend availability is the minimum, but a flexible schedule overall would be great! The ability to multi-task and thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

What do we offer? Competitive pay + tips (starting pay for the dining room is $18/hour, kitchen starts at $19/hour), paid meal breaks, free employee meals while working, pizza discounts, an engaging and inclusive work environment, and growth potential (all of our managers have been promoted from within!). Below are some basic details on what our dining room and kitchen positions entail.

Dining Room Crew (Host/Waiter)
Dining Room Crew positions include a variety of host positions (greeting and helping customers, working behind the counter, answering phones, bussing tables, etc.), and the potential to wait tables. You must be 18 years old to wait tables and at least 16 years old* to work as a host.

Kitchen Crew
Kitchen Crew positions may include some or all of the following: dishwashing, pizza making, food preparation, cleaning, minor maintenance, and operation of machinery. You must be available Friday to Sunday. You must be at least 16 years old* to work in the kitchen.

There’s a new kid on the block at Zachary’s in Pleasant Hill and Pleasanton. We’re debuting the Hot Giardiniera. Pronounced jar-din-AIR-uh, this delicious and spicy new pizza is made with Italian sausage, sliced onions, and mozzarella cheese, all topped with authentic Chicago-style hot giardiniera. This classic Chicago condiment is a pickled blend of cauliflower, peppers, celery, and carrots, and adds a delicious heat to both stuffed and thin crust pizzas. The Solano Stroll returns in all its glory this Sunday, September 11th and we can’t wait! Solano Ave will be closed to traffic from 10am to 5:30pm. During the duration of the Stroll, we will be takeout only. You can place togo orders over the phone or as a walk-in, but our dining room will be closed. If you do place an order, please keep in mind you’ll be unable to drive down Solano Ave and parking may be challenging due to the event.

We will be selling thin-crust Cheese and Pepperoni Slices and stuffed Spinach and Mushroom Slices for the duration of the Stroll. Stop by for a slice and a drink to enjoy on the parklet while you people watch and enjoy the day!

Cue the fireworks, pop the champagne! It’s time to celebrate!

What a year it’s been. We can’t express how much we’ve loved being a part of the Pleasanton community! We want to take a moment to express our gratitude and thank everyone for our warm welcome. Opening a restaurant is never easy, opening one during a pandemic is especially challenging. When we say we are thankful to you; our amazing community, customers, and friends, we mean it from the very bottom of our hearts. We can’t wait to celebrate many more years to come with you!
