Heart Shaped Pizzas are Back for Valentine’s Day ❤️🍕

This Valentine’s Day, we’re bringing back the love with heart shaped pizzas. Crispy, cheesy, and baked fresh to order, our heart-shaped pizzas are made with a little extra love for the sweetest (and most delicious) way to show you care. However you celebrate love (romantic, friendly, furbally, self-love) our heart-shaped pies are made to share- or not!  After all, nothing says “I love you” quite like pizza…and nothing says “I love me” like keeping the last slice for yourself 😉

Call to place a delay order for your heart-shaped pizza today or dine-in with us on Valentine’s Day!

Heart-shaped pizzas will be available exclusively on Valentine’s Day and while supplies last. Heart-shaped pizzas will be thin crust only and medium sized. They will be available for both dine-in and takeout and as fully baked or half-baked pizzas. Since these are special order pizzas, there is no half-and-half option and heart-shaped pizzas are not available via third-party delivery companies.

Celebrating Employee-Ownership Month at Zachary’s!

October is National Employee-Ownership Month- and here at Zachary’s that’s something that’s close to our hearts.

Since day one, our success has always been about teamwork, dedication, and a genuine love of pizza (and our communities of course!). Becoming 100% employee-owned gave us the opportunity to put that spirit into action.

When you dine with us, you’re not just supporting a restaurant, you’re backing a team of hardworking people who are directly invested in the food, the service, and the experience we create every day. We’re honored and grateful to be part of a community that supports local, employee-owned businesses, and are excited to keep growing together.

To help us celebrate the month we’re highlighting an employee-owner who recently reached a milestone with us. Edwin celebrated 15 years with Zachary’s in September! In 2010, Edwin joined Zachary’s as part of our San Ramon kitchen crew. From the very beginning, his work ethic, positivity, and team spirit shined. Over the years, Edwin has grown with company. First making the move from San Ramon to Pleasanton with us, then becoming a kitchen supervisor, and finally, joining our management team. Through it all, he’s brought that same dedication and energy every step of the way. His path reflects the heart of what it means to be an employee-owned company- working hard, supporting one another, and always striving to be our best.

We’re deeply thankful for Edwin and his15 years (and counting!) of contributions to Zachary’s and look forward to celebrating many more milestones to come with him!

Join Us for the Solano Stroll, Sunday September 14th!

One of our favorite community events of the year is almost here- the Solano Stroll!

On Sunday, September 14th, from 10am to 5pm, Solano Ave will be filled with music, entertainment, local vendors, and lots of friends and neighbors enjoying one of the Bay Area’s biggest street festivals.

We’ll be taking part in the action by selling stuffed Spinach & Mushroom slices (as well as thin-crust Cheese & Pepperoni!) from 11am to 4pm out of our North Berkeley restaurants front window. You can enjoy one on the parklet in front of the restaurant or take one to munch on while you stroll the festival!

Please note that Solano Ave will be closed to traffic until 5:30pm. Our dining room will be closed until 4:30pm- but don’t worry, we’ll be open for takeout all day!

After the Stroll winds down, head inside and relax with us for a cozy dine-in dinner. There’s no better way to end a day filled with family-friendly fun on Solano than sharing a pizza together 🍕

We can’t wait to celebrate community, good food, and good vibes with you! See you at the Stroll on September 14th!

42 Years of Pizza & Love in the Bay 🥳

We’re celebrating 42 amazing years of serving the Bay Area!

From a single, small pizza shop in Rockridge on College Avenue, to now 5 locations (and counting 😉), over 250 ‘Best Pizza’ Awards, and becoming 100% employee-owned, our journey has been one of hard work, dedication, and the deepest of gratitude.

We are endlessly thankful to our wonderful customers, our local communities, and the generations of folks who’ve supported us, dined with us, and then shared us with the next generation 🩷 Not to mention all the folks who have worked with us and helped shape who we are over these past 42 years!

We love the Bay. We love what we do. And most importantly, we love you. Looking forward to keeping it up with- and for- you for many more years and milestones to come! 🩷🍕🩷

Stuffed with Value- and Love! 🍕❤️

Feeding a group doesn’t have to mean skimping on quality—or spending a fortune. A large stuffed pizza from Zachary’s runs around $30–$45 and feeds 4–5 adults. That’s just $7–$10 per person for a seriously filling, flavor-packed main dish!

We’re talking real ingredients, hand-crafted dough, and pies so good you’ll be thinking about the next one before you’ve finished your slice. Fast food? Who needs that when you can get this kind of quality and flavor! Whether it’s dinner with friends, a family night in, or lunch for the crew, Zachary’s is a great deal without cutting corners.

🍕 Quality ingredients.
🍕 Generous portions.
🍕 Great value
🍕 No shortcuts—just really good pizza.

No Pizza Mind Trivia January 1st

Since we’ll be closed on January 1st, that sadly means there will be no Pizza Mind Trivia that night. However, Robert will be back in action and ready to delight you with riveting questions and his delightful personality on January 15th! Same time (6:30pm), same place (Zachary’s Grand Lake), same great prizes ($50 Zachary’s Gift Certificate for 1st Place!), and the same delicious pizza. See you then 😉

This National Literacy Month, We’re Turning Pizza into Pages!

As we celebrate 40 incredible years on Solano Avenue, Zachary’s is giving back to the community that’s supported us through every slice. Join us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays this September for a special cause- bring in a receipt (dated September 1-30, 2024) from Pegasus Books on Solano Ave, and we’ll give you 5% off whole pizzas and donate 10% to the Berkeley Public Library Fund.

Who says you can’t support Solano Ave’s favorite bookstore, promote literacy, and enjoy delicious pizza all in one go? Our goal is to raise $1,000, so let’s make some dough for a great cause. Order up, dig in, and let’s help our community read more, one pizza at a time!
